Yum-o This restaurant is family friendly and delicious. I visited this location on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch with my one year, sister, and mother. They were very accommodating with my son. I look forward to eating here again soon!
Great Pizza!! Amici Cafe is a great little eatery, located in beautiful downtown Covington. It's the perfect college hangout and is great for a date night. They have so many toppings available for pizza, as well as a lot of pasta choices, salad choices, and drink choices. I like their twice baked ziti (or spaghetti). The service is so great and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
Best Calzones in Covington Amici Italian Cafe is right on the Covington square, and has the best calzones in Covington! I stop by every chance I get with my family or friends. They also have a cool atmosphere and great service!
great Italian food The folks at Amici have a winning combination... great food and competent servers. The meals are a little pricer than Olive Garden, but these meals don't have a "chain" taste either. If you are looking for quality food and a really nice atmosphere, check out Amici Italian Cafe. Afterwards you can walk around downtown Covington and work off the calories. PROS: quality food CONS: nothing
Authentic NY Style Pizza I was skeptical when my friends told me that Amici was as close to NY pizza as it gets. But, I have eaten my weight in their delicious pies time and time again. It is delectable. I like to go on Thursdays when they have trivia. It's a fun crowd and their drink prices are very reasonable as well. I recommend Amici to all my friends. I love the staff. One of the friendliest I have seen and the managers always stop by to say hello and check on my meal. A class act!!!
AAA++++ The food is great, and to die for here! The service is exceptional, and they truly know the value of a customer! The prices are more than worth what you get and you definitely get more than what you pay for!
Make the extra drive to Athens Although this place and the Athens Amici's share a name, they are night and day...the pizza here is nowhere near as good, though the same range of inventive combinations is represented.
Not too impressed I also thought this place was over-priced for what was delivered. Crust was floppy on a thin crust pizza and the sauce and toppings were unremarkable. They were, however, very rushed the day I was there and they had no AC. Waiters are nice and clearly work hard.
