AVOID, Bunch Of Crooks !!! Took a very sick dog in there, that i had for years, and they did all the wrong tests, and had to end up taking the dog to a better, knowledgeable vet, which found out right away that she had full body cancer with a simple scan, and had to be put down. These people suck & bunch of idiots. NV Vet Board Is Been Contacted, and looking for a good lawyer for an interesting law suit.
Very upsetting. The left hand should let the right hand know what’s going on… too many patients if you ask me. I just switched out from them and I had all my 3 dogs there for 3 plus years. I was treated very abruptly when I had a 2 week medication appt and no one at the front desk knew it… After showing my disgust they squeeze me in and waiting half hour in a small airless room to tell me it will be another 20-30 minutes before I can be seen. That’s when I walked out… Terrible system..x
I take my dog and my cat to vca knights wood animal hospital. this morning I gave my dog her simparica trio for fleas ticks and heartworm. after she ate and took the meds she vomited up some food and probably the medicine. I called VCA my vet, to see if I should give another dose. I was told because I didn't buy the medication through them that I'd have to call the number on the box. RecommendedWe brought our very sick cat at age 19 in this week to let her move on to a better place. I must say the entire staff from the first contact was nothing but amazing. They were very kind and compassionate. They allowed us as much time as we needed. The doctor, equally as kind and compassionate was a great source of comfort. We were recently transferred to Northpointe when our vet closed their practice. We cannot say enough about the Northpointe doctors and staff. Our 10 yr old lab had medical needs the required frequent visits. The staff was always pleasant, friendly and efficient. The doctors thorough and knowledgeable. We have been going to Nassau-Suffolk Animal Hospital for over 13 years, first for our beloved Mr. Bentley, (who lived to be almost 12!), and now for our beloved Oliver P. Bottomsley. Dr. Haagenson, Dr. Lee and their staff are absolutely wonderful. There is only good things about this place. First of all, I have 2 crazy German Shepherds that I know have driven this staff crazy once or twice. But NEVER have they EVER turned me away. Not once. I called for an emergency for my cat the other day, Mr Mustache. He was not doing well and we found out it was a foreign body… My cat swallowed a dime. Crazy right? Fran and Dr. Crawford are amazing.
