It took some complaining and I had to adjust the attitudes of some of the staff to get back the compassion and care that drew them in the medical field in the 1st place. Some of them seemed to have lost that with their complacency. Well, this nurse still practices that compassion and caring every day. I had to remind them that my father was a human being. Horrible disgusting facility. Their specialty is destroying not healing. Shut this nightmarish facility and its creepy attendants down.
It is great place my Mom was there 5 years ago and the service was wonderful and everyone was so nice and helpful.But since the my Mom has passed away rest her little soul.
Was not impress with this place. Cannot get help from anyone and there were about 7 people behind the desk. Not one looked up to help. Unprofessional, from some bad language to nurses eating as they walk down the hall. To not getting help when needed to poor food for diabetics. Nothing but starches.
This hospital & the Dr's & nurses saved my life!! Even the staff were excellent in the care they gave me!! One of the nurses was Megan, & I Loved her so very much!! She took such Great care of me, she made me feel so safe & cared for!! All the nurses I had were Great, but Megan just went that extra mile!! I would recommend this hospital to everyone!! Bravo !! My son, Michael was admitted in November of 2014. I was not too please on another facility other than Terrebonne Hospital but I must say from the first moment that we stepped into the building, we were greeted and treated with such kindness. The doctors and staff, the patient's rooms, meals and therapy was top of the chart. Each day Michael showed so much improvement and To God Be The Glory!
