My brother suffered pure torture in the hospital before being sent to Ames Family Hospice House. The entire staff from the physician to the nurses were outstanding. They were gentle, kind and compassionate. He never experienced a moment of fear or discomfort there. He lived his last days in peace and comfort. I am eternally grateful to them.

RecommendedI just can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff are always so kind and helpful and the Nurses do a wonderful job with patient care. The facility is very beautiful and peaceful, it’s very calming. I am so thankful that they brought my sister here.
My father was taken care of during his last days on this earth. The staff provided him with tender, calming care and also were so kind to our family. Thank you all!

Hospice of Western Reserve (Ames) was amazing..... seeing our mother rest and be so beautiful cared for in her last days, last hours, was an experience I will not soon forget. We were also treated with the utmost integrity..:: our needs were equally met with the same compassion and heartfelt sincerity as was shown our dear sweet mother.
