I’ve stayed here in the past, granted, it was like 8 years ago or more. But I always assumed this hotel was supposed to be one of the nicer ones in town, while still being able to consider price. I booked a single king room, had a ton to do the day of check in so ended up getting in at 11 PM, and walk in to a mostly clean room, but I’m a cleaner for my day job so I can tell this is just clean for show, not actual clean. We wanted a warm pool to swim in while visiting, and this hotel was recommended as having the warmest pool in Shakopee. The lower reviews made me a bit hesitant, but I decided to book anyway, and I’m so glad I did. The staff here are incredibly kind and helpful. We didn’t see a high chair in the breakfast area, and they noticed right away and brought one out for my toddler. That kind of thoughtfulness really stood out.
