Changed contracts to fit your needs, raised previously agreed upon prices. Reniged on tank rental/purchase agreement, until legal action was threatened. Company does not worry about customer, just making money. Then when I could finally buy my tank many years later, then put a transponder on it to track usage. Then refuse to remove it from my tank. I will never EVER use them again because of the past experiences.
Update June 2025 This company is absolutely diabolical I have spent three days trying to add a 100lb tank that I use for a hurricane generator after 25 mins each day for 3 days I get nowhere My last delivery was a such a problem that I wanted to discuss before placing new order that too is impossible I truly do not know how they stay in business you cannot call or reach anybody at the local delivery level I’m sick and tired of this awful service So I have to completely change my review I have been a customer for 5 years and ... read more
Horrible experience my business has been closed since for 5 days now waiting for them to come reopen my tank from a gas leak. I have called over 13 times and, I kept getting they were on their way and they never showed up. They are a complete joke I had to call another company to come a resolve my issue.
There needs to be an option to give zero stars for this company. Amerigas has to be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I purchased a home where the previous owners used Amerigas. Upon calling them they sent someone out to re-fill my tank. Upon arrival they said the tank was empty and would need to be replaced. They said they do not do replacements and that I would have to find another company. Then they charged me $440 to remove their tank from my property when then NEVER PROVIDED ME SERVICE! I would like to follow-up on my previous Google review of AmeriGas.... While we didn't get the result we wanted, after my review, the company reached out to me. After researching the issue, Tracy followed thru with helping rectify the billing issues. This was much appreciated, and showed great customer service.
