Had a possible gas leak. My cook top blew off my counter. Amerigas didn’t send anyone to check for a leak. Then when I inquired about removing the tank and gas, the customer service rep told me to continue to use the gas until it was at 5%. So I have a possible gas leak but you want me to keep using the gas that just blew off my cooktop. This company should have its license revoked and needs to be investigated for other negligent advice.
Terrible service... don't deliver when promise and outsource customer service to an unsupportive team.
Been a customer for 8 years, was on deployment came back and they told me there was a $36 late fee added and they wouldn’t take it off the bill. Couldn’t do auto pay over the phone not sure why. They told me it’s $420 for them to come remove there own tank or I could pay $400 to get a new tank (which wouldn’t be my tank) because the tank has rust all over it. Would recommend buying your own tank if you’re planning on living in the house for more than 3 years.
Changed contracts to fit your needs, raised previously agreed upon prices. Reniged on tank rental/purchase agreement, until legal action was threatened. Company does not worry about customer, just making money. Then when I could finally buy my tank many years later, then put a transponder on it to track usage. Then refuse to remove it from my tank. I will never EVER use them again because of the past experiences.
Update June 2025 This company is absolutely diabolical I have spent three days trying to add a 100lb tank that I use for a hurricane generator after 25 mins each day for 3 days I get nowhere My last delivery was a such a problem that I wanted to discuss before placing new order that too is impossible I truly do not know how they stay in business you cannot call or reach anybody at the local delivery level I’m sick and tired of this awful service So I have to completely change my review I have been a customer for 5 years and ... read more
