trying to call in and order propane is a complete headache. be prepared to be on the phone with them for 45 minutes and can never understand anyone and most have no clue what their doing. the last time I ordered I got all in ready to pay and got transfered back to the start had to redo everything, she had be on hold for ever getting someone to help her. when called I had 22% by the time I got it I was at 5 %. this was during the ice storm. Delivery driver is always respectful and courteous.
Poor communication, long phone wait times to finally speak with personnel twice, neither of whom were able to provide answers or information I did not already have. Three missed delivery appointments on my keep full account has got me shopping their competitors.
My propane gets delivered quickly without having to call to schedule a time. The best feature of AmeriGas is having levelized billing.
Website is easy to use. Delivery is usually very prompt like no later than a couple of days after you place your order
