Shocking experience with AmeriGas customer service - Avoid Amerigas if you can I’ve been an AmeriGas customer for years, renting a propane tank from them, and just had the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. This company is horrible. I have been a customer for 20 years, they show up one day and red tag my tank. Three different appointments they missed to replace. On the third day I looked at my bill and they charge 40% more than competitors. Now they are wanting to charge me $300 to remove their red tagged tank they did not replace. I have a new company, needless to say.
Your delivery was fine and your prices we're good. I find it rather upsetting after getting a phone call from customer service wanting to follow up on my last review if there's nothing they could do about charging me for paperless when I did not request it. It's really tacky to do that without sending out an email asking people if they want that or not it's not about the $3 or whatever it is. It's the idea that you just tack on charges. Horrible horrible non-existent customer service. I've reached out multiple times with billing issues and gotten no response. I've been charged incorrectly for over $1000 for propane that was never delivered. AmeriGas finally credited my account but now the charge is showing up again as past due. Crooked, dishonest company
