As noted in my initial note. Your offshore messaging system is a failure in my opinion.
You guys are doing a great job. We know that things were difficult a few years ago, with all the challenges of COVID, staffing, supply chains, etc. But things have improved significantly, and we are happy customers.
I'm so frustrated with Amerigas! We signed up for their regular propane tank checks, and it worked fine for a while. But then they just...stopped checking. We didn't realize it, but our tank ran out completely! We had to get everyone out of the house because we could smell gas, but the stove wouldn't light. To make matters worse, they charged us a ridiculous $300 "urgent delivery fee" and then another $140 for a leak check! You'd think they'd take responsibility for messing up and leaving us without propane, but they didn't ... read more
We had signed up for scheduled checks for our Propane tank levels and for the first 6 months this was fine and then no one from Amerigas checked and our propane ran down to empty and we were unaware and had to have people leave the house because the residual gas entering the stove wouldn't light the burners but smelled like gas. We were not compensated in any way for a clear case of someone dropping the ball on checking our tank nor even given acknowledgement of something being done wrong. Extremely disappointing.
