I recently stayed at AmericInn by Wyndham Hudson and was really impressed, especially for a quick overnight trip. The hotel was very clean and felt nicely updated, which made the stay comfortable and easy from the moment we walked in. It had that fresh, well-kept feel that you always hope for but don’t always get at this price point. AVOID THIS HOTEL at all costs! They don’t deserve your money or time. 1 star is way too generous. Checked out at 12:00 on time. Went back at 1:00 for literally less than 1 minute to check for a forgotten key. They still slapped me with a $30 late check-out fee — absurd, since the room wasn’t occupied. Called to explain politely. The southeastern Asian manager was EXTREMELY RUDE, refused to listen or refund anything, insulted me, then hung up right in my face. The staff was absolutely amazing. Especially the you ger gentleman working overnights. Was very helpful and kind. He even knew his directions to nearby places and that was a big help. The pool was pretty decent and my kids greatly enjoyed themselves. Since the price was so low for the room I was skeptical but no doubt this place was worth it. To top it off they have a pretty decent complimentary breakfast. Stayed here on a weeknight and it was very quiet. I would recommend this place for sure
