I recently stayed at the Wyndham Hotel in Cedar Rapids because it was the closest hotel to the airport. Overall, the property was average, but my experience with customer service made the stay memorable for all the wrong reasons. When I first checked in, the door to my room would not latch or lock properly. As a woman traveling alone, and with the hotel being occupied predominantly by men, I did not feel safe staying in a room that wouldn't secure.
