Been going to this location for 10+ years, best prices for glasses.
This place gave me the worst experience ever. Made an appointment at a specific time, and they assured me it wouldn't take longer than an hour. They called me back an hour and 15 minutes later, without any apology. Then, they couldn't narrow down a time of how long it would take. The staff were rude, and unkempt. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Nasty front desk person. Should not be the first person greeting paying customers. I almost cancelled my order and walked out. Other staff are wonderful.
After 15ish years with your company I'm done because of the toms river store. There hasnt been a time I've been there that hasn't been a hassle. Yesterday, went to grab a box of contact lenses and was told they no longer are carried in stock & I need to wait a week for them to get them in the store. Unacceptable. I asked if there was any other brand that was compatible and she looked at me & said "nope"...so there's not one other brand I can grab till the softmeds come in. Again "nope"...I left. The support staff is nice enough, but the eye docs are incompetent. Saw two different docs, neither one could come up with a script that actually allowed me to see. Since I'd already paid for 2 pairs of glasses, it was finally decided to just use the script from the old pair I already had. Even then, it's taken multiple corrections to get the glasses usable. Started this whole process in the middle of June. September is almost over and I still don't have both pairs yet. After this is finally resolved, I will never be coming ... read more
The Dr was rude, yelled at me instead of speaking to me. I tried asking questions and the only thing she kept saying was that this is what she was doing. Why was I able to see more clearly in the dailys , but not in the weeklys? Because I am older? Please it was last month. Did my eyes change that quickly????? I don't think so.
They took good care of me. Gave me a lot of recommendations as I'm a first time in need of glasses. Everyone was pleasant to speak to and they answered all of the questions I had, and there were many questions! Friendly staff, and I even went for a more expensive set of glasses, and still spent WAY less than I had anticipated.
