The remote dr was going offline I was there 2 hrs through the whole process. What a crap show!! Glad I took the whole day off

If you have ever thought about going to Americas Best in Hammond.. DONT! It just took me 2 hours for an exam and they were not close to busy. Half the time I was the only customer in there. I video chatted with a doctor Instead of an actual doctor on site. THEN to top it off they don’t carry trial contacts they have to order them which takes 7-10 days! I could have gone anywhere else and gotten contacts today! Worse vision appointment experience
Bad customer service. They will cancel your appointment. Some employees are unprofessional. The doctors choose not to take certain patients and appointments. This location used to be a lot better.
….this place sucks! They don’t listen to patients needs and the glasses they made me i can’t even wear
It took almost 2 hours exactly to be taken back to an examine room just to be told no physician was in and it would be a televisit, which is fine I can deal with that but the 2 hour wait with only 4-5 pts in the waiting room is absolutely unacceptable. Obviously we understand there are staffing issues but if that is the case then appointments need to be spread out to ensure wait times are not absolutely RIDICULOUS
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! I went in with my fiancé while he did his exam and I could browse for glasses for myself! I was told I couldn’t go in the exam room with him which was not my intentions as stated above! So once he was sent back I asked could I browse, I was told sure whatever I do touch put in the bucket so it can be cleaned! I said okay and started browsing!
