Worse company ever. After the free exam, services just goes down the drain if you ever need to come back for a new pair of glasses. Nobody knows anything, employees give the wrong information before checking/confirming and its absolutely a headache trying to get information on your own prescription. God forbid you go to a different store then where you had the initial exam, because even though they can see your prescription in their database they require the old store to fax the prescription to them. My son and I went to America best (worst) my lens fell out but since I didnt buy warranty I was stuck plus the glass doesnt work I been wearing my old glasses. I am so worried that my son glasses are wrong he is 9 and I cant see from his eyes but if they like mine I know they dont work.money too hard to come by and they just took a couple hundred from us. At least I thought they would replace the lens that fell out as I was walking this place a scam

1st. The quality is inferior and it seems the frames are made of sugar because it brakes constantly. The staff are usually rude and wants to make a sale instead of repairs. After the 6 pair of reading glasses I purchased for my 13 year old son, I have decided to never bring my business to this phony company which is a monumental reapoff.

I went into the American Best on ***************************************** in ******,** to get my glasses adjusted on 04/16/22 @ 11:20 am. The worker was very rude when I asked if she could adjust my glasses. She used a matter of fact tone & continued to say if you dont have a warranty on your glasses its nothing I can do. The assistant manager was standing by and the the worker gave her my glasses and told her to help help me instead. The assistant manager proceeded to help me with a very nonchalant tone. I brought 2 pair of glasses & either one was the correct prescription. I took them back & the ********************* a wheelchair did not examine my eyes. He took my original glasses, place them on a machine & supposedly wrote another prescription. I returned yesterday and they were the exact glasses, I had originally gave back. I asked for a full refund. I was told there is no manager in the store, so I would have to wait until she/he returns. I spent all this money on *********** am very dissatisfied. I booked 2 online appointments for myself and my daughter. She wanted contacts for the first time. The doctor ***** give her a contact exam and when I asked about it she told me she could only work with the info she was given honey. Then they walked away and left us sitting there. We never got any contacts and they charged me $89 for a useless piece of paper. I have never been treated so rudely.

I have came here for years to get glasses. I finally decided to get contacts and theyve definitely ruined the whole experience. They have absolutely no clue what they are doing. I had an appointment canceled for no reason. No one called me when my trial contacts showed up. I took the contacts class twice and they passed me even though I couldnt get them out. advertises $69 exam plus two free pairs of glasses, and then tried to charge an additional 80$ for a contact prescription that was not stated was not part of the exam. Unethical to bait and switch like that.
