I have done business with Americare for 15-20 years. The service has been good. I received a mask that doesn't fit tight under my nose. I called them and they said my next shipment was in 3 weeks. I received no offer to replace the mask. I would have to pay $125 out of my pocket. I am on Medicare and that is not an option. I am in Stage 3 chronic kidney disease and I need my sleep. They may be good at selling CPAP but their support and follow up is awful. I have been a customer for a while. I usually pay on line my bill. That is not working. Try to register, that does not work. Talk to customer service. Static on the phone. The representative was difficult to understand. I finally was able to pay over the phone using my debit card. If it wasn't for the fact my doctor and insurance recommended them, I would not use them. They have sent me the wrong supplies when I change supplies over the phone. I work ... read more
Got a call after today after checking to see if a CPAP was covered months ago. The CPAP was not covered originally so I took my business else where. Then I get a call today and the guy is stating he was going to see if supplies were covered for me. I said no I get them from Amazon and he basically said well I'm gonna check anyway and I will call you back. I said don't and he said I'm gonna call you back after I check...???
