Dr. Tan is thorough and takes the time to listen to concerns. He reviews all lab work and explains well. I give him five stars! Wait times are a bit long though- sometimes being close to or over one hour from appointment time to actually being seen. Scheduling appointments can be frustrating when issues arise as they book three plus months out. The staff is usually friendly and efficient! There is no parking validation, so expect minimally $3 to park. Doc gets 5 stars, entire experience gets 3 (worth the wait situation)

Left me waiting extremely long once they took me back with a eight months old. Then when I was using the restroom the doctor saw me in the hallway and said I'll be with you shortly.

If I could leave 0 stars , I would but you have to leave at least 2- that being said…I had 2 appointments with American Kidney Institute. The first visit was with the Dr.Dasari. He ordered labs and a follow up appointment to determine plan of care. Came back for follow up appointment this time with the nurse practitioner. He read my labs to me (I already did that) and said he would pass info to Dr Dasari and someone would be following up with me. Still waiting months later. Office reported my mother had no insurance to the billing department. I called the billing department 6/1 and gave insurance information. They again did not bill insurance and sent me another statement 6/30. Supposedly, they are going to bill insurance as of 7/12. Will update. Seems both the office and the billing department need to get their act together. I hope they handle my mother's kidneys better than they do her records.
