They doctor was both competent and nice but ended my engagement on a sour note. Don't buy contacts from them. They keep a pair out of the box for themselves to "replace" the sample set they used to fit you with. I was never told that when I bought them. I've never encountered this before. I feel like they stole a pair of lenses from me.

Best Customer Service – I would not go anywhere else!! I have worn glasses and contact lenses for as long as I can remember. When I moved to Colorado 6 years ago my coworker suggested I come to this office for my eye exams. The office building is located in a very old neighborhood but the office itself is nice and very clean. Cleanliness is very important! The office has a small staff that is always very knowledgeable about my insurance benefits and its always nice to see the same gals every year. I usually see a different d... read more

Run Away From This Place – This is the worst vision center I have been to! It has been 2 1/2 months since my first visit with them and I still don't have the contacts I ordered and paid for. To be fair, this whole saga took place during the holidays but after my last contact check a month ago they told me they would call me when my contacts arrived and I am still waiting for that call. My first appointment was with the aforementioned Dr. T who was seriously creepy and unprofessional. I also was lectured about nutrition and h... read more

This office is scamming the Insurance Companies – I visited this office for my final lasik follow-up exam, which was part of the lasik exam payment of $4,000. I set-up the visit as my "lasik follow-up" and I thought that was the service I was provided. Then three months later I got a bill for an "annual exam" that cost over $400. I was never asked if I wanted an "annual exam", I was never told that services they were giving me were outside of my lasik total that I already paid. When I argued the charges the doctor apologized... read more

Mediocre – I have been to American Vision Center twice now, the first visit was wonderful. The doctor I saw was prompt, professional and thorough. The lenses were ordered quickly and efficiently. However, the second visit was scheduled with another doctor, without my knowledge of there being more than one or consent to see another doctor. Dr. T, whom I saw the second time, was thorough, though slow and at times unprofessional. He discussed nutrition and other items, such as exercise, that I felt were inappropriate at an eye ... read more

Great service and great glasses! – I've been going to American Vision Center for over 10 years now. This is an old-fashioned, neighborhood vision store, where you get an exam, pick out your glasses (great selection and inexpensive as well), and you come back a week later to pick them up. I have a really difficult prescription to fill and American Vision Center has never once made a mistake in my glasses (compared to mall stores where I've had to return 5 or 6 times due to flaws in the glass). They always remember me and keep... read more
