Where's your advocacy for fertility patients during this pandemic? We need a clear path and what your doing to make treatments possible in fertility clinics across the country.

They created guideline that are not based on evidence not to mention that Dr Doody, who is on the task force is now performing diagnostic procedures, such as HSGs this week, while preaching that REIs should strictly follow the guidelines. You can’t help but wonder - Is he just not practicing what he preaches or is he taking advantage of insider information since the new guidelines will be released next week? Either way, doesn’t reflect well on him or ASRM

Guidelines go against patient autonomy and individual community circumstances during covid19. A blanket, nationwide recommendation is not the best action, and it’s going against the mission to advocate for infertility patients.

In my opinion they Created non-evidence based guidelines and blackballing physicians who don’t adhere to them.

The ASRM updates, recommendations, and restrictions are discriminatory, offensive, and tone-deaf. So long as fertile women are not barred from pursuing pregnancy, restrictions on fertility treatment are absolutely discriminatory. To see them coming from an organization whose stated aim is advocacy on behalf of patients is appalling.
