The process of switching to solar couldn't be easier with this company. We asked tons of questions and got prompt answers. The personnel were very knowledgeable. They guided us through the entire process from securing financing to monitoring the system and gaining tax exemptions. The builder and there associates were always professional and easy to work with. Would not do business with this company. They have been calling me over an year so I decided to set up an appointment with them to see about solar cost and installation. We setup the appointment one week prior to them coming out. Me and my wife wrote down questions being we already talk to other solar companies. I loved the idea of getting solar panels and this company did a really good job of installing the panels and hot water system. But unfortunately that's it. If had a problem with two of my panels now for over three months and after numerous phone calls to get them fixed, NOTHING has been done. This is extremely frustrating. Three months. Really. They don't call you with updates, at least say hey the parts still aren't here yet. No regretting getting done. It's like spending 30 grand on a car and driving with a flat tire. Sure... read more

Mr. Watkins, Unfortunately the manufacturer had a backlog, which we have never experienced before and have been promised will never happen again involving shipping replacement inverters. They have recently come in and I know we will be out within the week to make sure the two panels are up and running. Our panels went up today! We just have a couple more steps to go (inspection and net meter) and we will be producing power! Our experience with American Sentry Solar has been wonderful. Everyone is so helpful, and the crew that worked on our home was fabulous. Very polite, respectful, and courteous. They cleaned up our property and made certain we were happy before leaving. Highly recommend them!
American Design and Build / Sentry Solar has been wonderful to work with! We used them four years ago when we went solar for the hot water heater and went back to them when we bit the bullet and went full solar. Their attention to detail and the respect and customer service are excellent. They often made house calls to get paperwork signed so that we did not have to sit for the postal service and so that the work could proceed quickly.
