We used American mover with 3 guys and we only ended up with 2 1/2. Two of them were actually there to work, but one guy was so busy on his cell phone texting and phone calls that it cost me more money. I have used another company in the past with 3 movers and more stuff (boxes and furniture) and it took them less time. My husband called the owner and he could not believe it. No way. Never again. I have no idea what is going on with other reviews because our move was beyond a nightmare. These guys show up 2 hours and 15 minutes late. They are tired, sweaty and chomping on Chex mix or something while in our home talking to us. Initially scheduled two guys but owner Jon " did us a favor" for being late and sent 3. Our belongings were stacked without using furniture pads. My memory foam mattress was used to pad my furniture from my fridge. I wasn`t disappointed. I decided to go with them after a long month of phone calls and offers from many different moving companies. It wasn`t easy to find a company that I felt comfortable puting nearly everything I own in their hands... and one that had a reasonable price. They really did a good job, including packing all my items and delivering the shipment on time.

This was a beautiful experience. Everyone in the office was up front with pricing, patient with my questions and many calls, and just all around super. The crew was respectful, worked hard, and finished much sooner than I had expected.

I found a new job in another ciry and I had to move my whole apartment from Wichita, KS for a weekend. I called American Affordable Movers earlier the same month and we scheduled the transportation. I had no time to call again later, but they didn`t forget. Their workers were on time on my door and were very polite and careful with my stuff. Everything went ok, so I`m happy to recommend American Affordable Movers to everyone who needs fast and reliable service.

I just wanted to write to say thank you for the excellent service we received from American Affordable Movers when we moved home. The guys who came to help us worked really efficiently, were very careful with our belongings and did the work with a smile! It made the whole move much more pain and stress-free than we could have hoped for.
