Stay away from this company, scams artists at best . Your home gets damaged and they try to do everything in their power not to pay or limit your repairs . They are super rude and have no sense of customer service . All their adjusters are clueless and have zero understanding of how to run a claim or an inspection. They hire people from the street to do inspections to submit the final cost of repairs which is unreal and super low. This company is TRASH! They do not answer calls, they do not email you back, Nobody knows what going on. It took 5 weeks of me calling none stop and bugging them trying to find out what's going on and finally somebody emails me back. Funny how they didnt pay anything they only covered my deductible this company is really terrible.

This is THE WORST company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT GET A POLICY WITH AMERICAN RISK!!! I had major damage from the February freeze and they paid out a small percentage of what it will require. My home is now empty and the work has been stopped. They have NOT PAID ANY LOSS OF USE and would never answer a call. They WILL NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS that I have sent them. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY!! They have the worst customer service and their claims handling is atrocious. They sent a penny for every dollar needed for my freeze damage and they WILL NOT take your calls. If you're luck, you can establish someone to email and that is it. They do not care if your home gets repaired and they WILL NOT answer any of your questions. I called the board of insurance and was told to ask specific questions...NONE were answered. Stay far, far away.

Worst home owners insurance I have ever had. That saying you get what you pay for sure holds true. Yes, they have reasonable rates. BUT! Horrible customer service to basically no customer service. They do not care about the home owner. They do not wanna pay when you have a claim. They drag their feet and pay you the absolute least they can get away with. They also like to cancel you on a whim. So do yourself a favor and stay away from this bunch

If I could score them without giving any stars I would. By far the worst customer service during the Winter Storm. The adjusters could care less about your damages and the goal is to keep our money in their pocket. I have yet to speak with anyone or here anything about the status of my claim. This is the worst insurance company ever. They don’t return any calls, and have a recorder directing you to leave a message when you call. I will not be renewing my insurance with this company.
