Donated blood for the first time, and even though I don’t do terribly well around needles and almost passed out, the nurses on hand do an incredible job to tend to your side and make sure your needs are taken care of. I was given cold packs, snacks, water, and plenty of time to rest after everything was all said and done. The nurse in charge of me did a fantastic job throughout the whole procedure and made me feel a lot more comfortable than I thought.
This is my favorite place to donate. Other places that I’ve donated were not nearly as efficient and organized. The Bangor donor location has friendly volunteers and they’re very efficient. If you’re looking for a place to donate blood in the Bangor area, I highly recommend this location.
