I started out giving blood at this location and then moved on to donating platelets. The place is always clean, the staff are friendly, and I haven't had a bad stick yet. I highly suggest this location if you're considering donating blood. I used to be terrified of donating, and now it's rather a cozy activity for me thanks to the staff. If you donate platelets, it takes longer, and they set you up in comfy beds, with blankets, and Netflix. They also have snacks and want you to be comfortable.
Great experience! The healthcare professionals who assisted me were knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I had three donation options: blood, plasma, and platelets. I had donated blood and plasma multiple times but this was only the second time I had donated platelets, which there is a big demand for. Platelet donations usually take around 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the donor. I got my donation done in less than 3 hours. I just had the best experience giving blood today! I think her name is Crystal - she was amazing! The sweetest soul, so sweet, easy to talk to and personable. I will honestly be back more often to donate because she was so great!
Staff is always friendly, positive, they remember me by name now since I come semi consistently, they're always stocked on snacks. I donate platelets which takes upwards of two hours so they have a TV set up to w watch Netflix for platelets donations. And again, the staff are so very friendly. I appreciate it
