My supervisor allows me to donate when we're slow at work, so I visit semi regularly. I started with whole blood donation, until the phlebotomist explained that I have a high platelet count. I can give three units of platelets and some plasma twice as often as I can give whole blood. The facility is always clean and staff is friendly. It's a great way to give back and catch up on a Netflix series.
