I called the phone number listed here on Google for the Lehi, UT location, it was answered by Red Cross Answering service in North Carolina, Nate was AMAZING, he made me feel like a hero “For giving blood during our greatest time of need”. Friendly staff. They were quick to get me in and through the pre donation process. Took a few minutes to get me hooked up to give blood but everything went pretty smooth and overall I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time.
It was my first time donating platelets, and the staff was so incredibly helpful. I was nervous, but they really helped me calm down and get me comfortable for the donation. They have a blanket warmer, which is super nice and they also provide pillows and a screen so you can watch movies while you donate. Platelets are a really difficult process, but I’m glad that they were able to make the ride so much smoother. Super rude unpleasant staff. My daughter went in to donate blood and staff was so rude she ended up leaving in tears. How does a non profit that constantly begs for support survive when they treat people so badly?
