Staff here are very helpful. It can be busy though so i recommend downloading their app and scheduling a donation, do the questions beforehand etc.
Today you held a blood drive at the school I work at. A 16 year old girl returned sobbing. She was told at 5'4 and 115 pounds that she should "Go eat a couple cheeseburgers and fries and to come back next year!" One of your male workers made this comment. This is not ok.These are children. How you speak to them can do damage. Do better Red Cross Blood drive workers.
First time giving platelets. Staff was great, I was surprised the saline added caused the chills but I loved the warm blankets
