Great job by the staff here. Able to give blood start to finish in 30 minutes. Very clean and very professional and friendly staff. Easy to sign up and sign in.
Donated blood yesterday, it seems the staff has changed, not as professional as the staff when they were off brambleton. While I was sitting on the table getting set up, It hit me that my next appointment hadn't been scheduled. I casually mentioned it along the lines of, " oh, we didn't schedule my next appointment. (Last time it was done before I went to the back ) The phlebotomist replied in a rude tone and attitude " I'm not even done setting you up, let me finish what I'm doing" I was taken by surprise. I had an appointment at 3:00 PM to donate platelets. I arrived about 40 minutes early to relax beforehand, since pulse and blood pressure tend to run a bit high in the medical setting. I asked the phlebotomist if I could wait to begin closer to 3. She obviously wasn't enthusiastic about that, but she let me do it. She took me back a few minutes before 3. Always better then blood drive. Everyone is nice.
The blood draw process itself is always quick and smooth, but this location has a serious problem with lack of communication between the front desk staff and the phlebotomists in the back. This isn't the first time I've sat in the waiting room for 45+ minutes only for a phlebotomist to come out and act surprised to see people waiting. This time there were three other people in the same boat as me - checking in on time, then ignored and left to wait. I'm surprised no one gave up and left.
