DO NOT GO HERE !!! Please STAY FAR AWAY from this place!! They had some newbie guy trying to take my blood and he was TERRIBLE! When he went to draw my blood he could not find the vein and was jamming the needle in and out and it caused a big bruise on my arm that 10 days later my arm is not only still bruised but I have a big lump that is completely black and blue. I had to go to emergency to get it checked out.
I donated platelets for the first time at this location yesterday. The staff were so friendly and made me feel so comfortable even though I was so nervous. I will definitely be coming back!
translation: I’ve been donating at this place for over a year. It’s my closest option, and I’m surprised to see such negative reviews. If you check the last donor box —those with more than 18 donations in 2024— you’ll see my name. Based on my experience, I can say it’s a good place to donate. They treat me well. The only downside is when they remove the tape: I’m hairy. Other than that, I highly recommend it.
Find another place to donate. It was painful and left a huge bruise on my arm. Did not know how to draw blood properly.
