Find another place to donate. It was painful and left a huge bruise on my arm. Did not know how to draw blood properly.
If you can donate blood, do it. The people at the Red Cross in Marietta are super friendly, they made it a pain free Experience, checked in on me regularly, and thanked me profusely. Then, I can track where my blood goes through their app. It's really neat.
Attempted to donate for community service hours and the lady said that there is absolutely no way for them to prove i donated and that they "are not allowed" to sign my sheet for service hours. Ridiculous.
That's why i keep my money in my pocket 💯. The American red cross is a shady organization.
