I'm not the best patient and am still getting into the flow of donating regularly, but the staff here are top notch and are always kind and empathetic.
I seem to always have some sort of issue when trying to donate blood and this time was no exception. However it was still a pleasant experience. I was greeted warmly at the door by the person at the front desk and received exemplary care from Tania and Sarah. Despite my efforts to be hydrated, my small veins decided to be extremely uncooperative but Tania was able to get it going... Albeit at a snails pace. I will be back to try again in August
First time giving platelets at this location and the phlebotomists were fantastic!!! You could tell they love their jobs and danced and sang!! They got me in quickly, cuddled me up with blankets when I got cold, had a fantastic selection of movies, fed me afterwards and gave me a T-shirt!! Better than some dates I’ve been on … what a satisfying way to spend a Sunday morning!
Very nice staff, easy to donate, and the Emerywood center seems more organized than Innsbrook location, and definitely faster.
