I think what happens is that people lose sight of what the HOA and property management company are here to do. The HOA was established for the maintinance and upkeep of your community so that all homes should increaseor at the very least maintain property values. This includes Storm Water ponds. The HOA has an established and sometimes modified list of Rules, Regulations and Covenants that all homeowners must agree to before moving into said community. This company is extremely unprofessional. My experience was VERY negative, as after they took over the property, they became very lazy. They have no respect for proper business practices.These folks are on par with MRA, dishonest to the core and only look out for themselves.
This company is completely unprofessional. I am a new, first time homeowner and I m delinquent on my HOA fees. The thing is, I didn t receive a bill telling me that they were due. APS apparently sent the bills to my previous address, key word being previous. They were sent back to them three times. Then, a neighbor/ HOA representative, knocks on my door to tell me that I m delinquent and can be sent to a lawyer if I don t pay. Nice. I think this company needs to defintely work on their customer service. If it was up to me than they would not be managing our property. I will be glad to move to another community where I don t have to worry about where I can store items on my own property which I pay the mortgage for each month.
I think its funny that other than -Iris- all the negative responses were posted by anonymous yahoo users... What are you afraid of? Use your real names people! APS has always operated within the parameters of our business agreement in a professional manner. A much better HOA than MRA by far! For what its worth I have been sent to collections so Ive seen the "dark side" of HOA companies. They actually worked with me and made the whole process non-degrading. Maybe, it was the way I treated them... hmmmm
Dealing with this company is no differant than dealing with a communist country such as Russia in the day of Stalin. They are judgemental without reason.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Unfortunately there are not enough adjectives in the English language to properly explain how terrible a company American properties is and how frustrating and difficult it is to deal with them. I have never received such poor customer service. If you have a problem they will do everything in their power to hide from you and not return phone calls, when forced to answer even the most simple of questions they have absolutely no problem flat out lying to you. I worked with 2 different management companies before American Property Services, and they have always been very professional and less costly than the other 2. I agree with Donald. If you speak to people with respect and courtesy you get the same in return. It sounds like "Unhappy" probably used most of the (4 letter language).
