I am a physical therapist at AHN in Erie. I have worked out at American Power Gym for over a year now and it has been the best gym I’ve gone to in Erie. Gerry has been my personal trainer for the last few months. He is very knowledgeable and personable. Being a shy person I had been scared to go to a gym for the longest time, and had less than great experiences at larger gyms. When I started at American Power, I immediately felt welcomed by everyone I met there. The atmosphere is upbeat and friendly. Gerry and Diane do a great job of educating and training people to work out in ways that are safe and work for them. I highly recommend this gym!

If you want to train seriously and have an environment that promotes this mentality, come here. They will not disappoint. I came here for a family visit and this facility does the job well.

As someone who travels for work i consistently struggle to find a quality gym whilst traveling. This gym is the answer to my weightlifting prayers. Great equipment, classic gym environment, and staff that treat you like a local. I hope to be sent back to Erie just so that I can lift here, my home gym away from home.
