Norm the operator that help me, he ask about how much stuff we had, I went into detail explaining everything that we need it to relocate including leaving rooms, beds, tv’s dining tables and computer desk, I told him also about the size of the storage building where everything was at (10x20) the quote came out to be @3,000 dollars, he told me to paid $1,200 at that moment and whatever the balance was I had to pay that when they pick up the stuff and the last part when they drop the stuff….when the arrive to pick up the stuff... read more

We hired American Moving and Storage to relocate all of our belongings from Lynchburg, VA to Florida, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our movers, Tevin and Daniel, were outstanding from start to finish. They had to load two full trucks from our storage units, and each of them drove a truck all the way to Florida on their own. DO NOT HIRE. EVER!!! HORRENDOUS PEOPLE. Zero stars...one star is too generous here... This crew was deplorable, disgusting and disrespectful! My mother was treated in the most UNETHICAL way. They were sloppy in both homes, did not listen to my mother, and were severely unorganized and utmost DISRESPECTFUL. They stole her food from her pantry, peed in every toilet, and one mover fell through the attic, ruining her brand new bathroom ceiling. Multiple pieces of furniture were broken too. I moved here 5 years ago with my husband who was a Viet Nam veteran with multiple medical problems from Agent Orange and severe PTSD. The company that moved us did a terrible job and at 80 y/o I couldn't handle everything that was misplaced. Two young men from AM&S came to my rescue.
