The way they’re billing patients seems highly fraudulent. After proving them with our insurance, they claimed they would submit a claim & our insurance would reimburse us the amount we paid out of pocket. After waiting 2-3 weeks, we hadn’t heard anything from our insurance and found out a claim was never actually submitted. I called AMR back, they essentially said, whoops we’ll submit that now. This company has been a NIGHTMARE regarding their UNETHICAL, ILLEGAL & FRAUDULENT BILLING PRACTICES. I'm the only child and POA for my 86 y.o. mother with Alzheimer's. June of 2023 she had an ambulance transport in the suburbs of Philadelphia. She has a wonderful retiree Anthem Blue Cross MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLAN. Thankfully.. Never had to use this company. HOWEVER these ‘healthcare professionals’ do come into my place of work to use our public bathroom. My complaint is that they DO NOT WASH THEIR HANDS and they occupy our bathroom for a half hour. We’re in a shopping center with a wawa…
Poor billing practices. Failure to bill secondary insurance. Sent to third party who ignored and tried to post on our credit report. Contacted BBB, CFPB and a lawyer. You best lawyer up AMR. DISGRACEFUL. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
