We love American House Saint Clair Shores, we moved our mother in earlier this year and we have been very pleased with the whole Experience. Interesting on how our mother went to school at this property long before it became American House. It was Saint Gertrude’s Church and grade school / high school !! Independent living with a great community !

The front porch, outer lights and railings are covered in spiderwebs and have not been cleaned all summer. There are carpet stains throughout the hallways that have been there for months. The employees are great with a few exceptions to the dining room floor staff.

We researched many local senior housing options before deciding on American House Lakeshore. I am very glad we have our mom here. Many other locations have older facilities that are in disrepair and many others had higher starting prices plus the nursing care on top. While this is not inexpensive, I feel the facility, the staff, the amenities, food and activities are all excellent. It feels more like a nice hotel than a senior home. I am a private caregiver. Have assisted with multiple residents . They are happy to reside here and so are their neighbors. The staff is pleasant, friendly attentive if you’re thinking of a senior, living community highly recommend.!!! TAB check up services Tricia RN BSN
