Re: Orlando, Florida American HomePatient -- Horrible service, totally incompetent and disorganized! It was a hellish experience just trying to get a wheelchair delivered to my mother who cannot walk. They showed up at the house but refused to leave the wheelchair. I had to make numerous phone calls and everyone told me something different. This was PREARRANGED and PREAUTHORIZED by the insurance. We dropped a prescription off on 05/31/18 for a nebulizer for my mom, who has bronchiectasis (a chronic lung disease) and also had just been released that day from the hospital after 5 days of bilateral pneumonia. Was told it might take a day or two for availability. She calls this past Monday (11 days later) for an update....since no one had been in touch with her....was told, they were going to have to contact the physician because they (Medicare) couldn't determine it was needed. I have been with them for a year, this month I have been lied to by half a dozen reps. In addition, they refuse to listen, and are refusing to do their job, by billing secondary ins. Have caused me major aggravation and time wasted calling Medicare ! this is only a fraction of the problems they are causing me. ------------------ STRONGLY suggest a different provider ! --------------------------
