RecommendedHad a great experience with the AHIT live course. We had a great instructor Jim, he was very passionate, effective and had a good sense of humor. I would recommend anyone looking to get licensed to take this course.
I have started my online training in Texas and very impressed with the level of education
Rip off....As a single father, my time is spent working and raising my kids. In my spare time, I tried to complete this course because the person I spoke with told me that it would only take me two weeks to complete. That was a lie. I had to extend the course after my first six months and 3 months after that, they never warned me that my class was about to expire and I didn’t log on in time to extend. As a veteran and single father, this course put me in a hole financially. I got absolutely nothing out of it.
Awesome training passed exam with 700 on first try!! Been using their software for almost 2 years and still waiting for update

I have taken the course and passed with my certificate . it was very informative and helpful in starting my own business. their inspectit software is great . I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in doing home inspection
The training course is awesome. but do not byu the Inspectit Report software if your a Texas Inspector!!! They took away the summary page aspect which makes getting a top issue list for your clients harder as now you have to pick apart the report and personally write it down or type it in body of email when sending instead of just being able to import or copy/paste to a summary page. I wish I'd have look elsewhere and bought a different version. still may cut my losses and get another software version that cares about helpin... read more
I'm still in the middle of my Texas courses and should be completely done with the online portion within the next month depending on how fast I choose to go. I have my 8 day hands on class scheduled for December in Dallas and so far I am loving it. I have been ready to work for myself for a long time now and can't wait to start! Has anyone else taken the Texas course and if so, how easy/hard is the state license test? Also, what all did you do to get ready for your new career in the meantime before being licensed?
