Bill came to rescue us from 2 interior window casements that had deteriorated, one from a leak and one from aggressive termites. He rebuilt both casements, replaced interior wood that was damaged, worked with our termite people to treat the new wood, textured and repainted flawlessly. Will always call American Handyman for help when we need it! Thanks, Bill, for a great job!!

After trying to deal with some other companies I finally found American Handyman Service through Thumbtack. What a relief it was to deal with a professional company instead of the inferior companies that fail to show up, give you a bid or just are rude and incompetent. Lots of odds and ends carpentry jobs, doors that needed to trimmed, drawers that didn't work, hinges that needed to be replaced, all skillfully done effectively and quickly by Robert. I highly recommend this service.

My house had some pretty bad stucco holes and a lot of cracks that needed patching. I showed CHUCK the parts I wanted patched/fixed and he just went right to it. He finished even before the time he quoted me. When I went outside to assess the job. He went above and beyond what I asked him to do and overly exceeded my expectations. He did great work. I am glad he gave me some business cards so I could recommend them to other people. Very reasonable price!

My wife's garden tub cold water valve broke(Sunday morning), I know a little about construction so I took a look under it to see what I would have to do. It was that plastic pipe. Every one in the house was upset that we would not have water until Monday. We called American Handyman, in know time at all they replaced the valve and cleaned up after them self's. From this point forward his business card hangs in my garage. a Great Job at a Great Price. Thank you again. BA

These guys are awesome. Friendly, professional, reliable, excellent quality work at a great price. Chad and his helper Bruce replaced the fascia boards on my townhouse this week in about 5 hours. The work is beautiful. The workers are friendly and know what they are doing. I will be calling them again when I need home repairs. Thank you American Handyman!!

We just bought our first home a few months ago and the front door had some major issues. It wasn't stained on the bottom, so it would uptake water and as a result, had warped into more of a potato chip shape. It also wouldn't close properly, had improperly installed hardware, and didn't have weather sealing or a threshold. Dreadful customer service. They did a very dangerous repair and I was told in the most shameful way that because it was not their original product they would not guarantee their work. A few months after being put up the 2 five foot glass doors that they installed came crashing down narrowly missing my playing children and leaving large and small broken shards of glass all over my family room. All's fine with them as long as there are no problems. Do not expect any responsibility if things go wrong. Must to avoid.

Response to negative review. by American Handyman Service - 01/08/2013 Unfortunately American Handyman Service cannot guarantee how someone treats their furniture. We did not design or build the furniture and at some point even the best quality product will fail. American Handyman Service did not provide any type of warranty on said repairs.
