I have been a proud member and leader of AFT Local 2317 here in LA County, CA for 22 years. We are a union of professionals, both certificated and classified. I am also an elected school board official in Orange County, CA and the local teachers are part of the NEA. I am pleased to say that our two unions are now collaborating nationally and on a statewide level to move educational issues forward in efforts to improve student achievement. Our focus will remain on students and schools.

Using data to bully teachers isn't a new phenomenon, so people giving our union less than a five rating is just another trick in the hedgefunder's, anti-union bag. To all of the trolls and bots trying to hurt teachers and our union, seek professional help.
