KATHY STARED THIS PROCESS 15 MONTHS WHEN WE BUT THE DEPOSIT TOLD IT WOULD TAKE 90 DAYS .WELL IT TOOK OVER 6 MO TO CLOSED ON THE LONE BECOUSE THEY TOOK FOR EVER TO SEND ALL THE PAPER WORK TO THE VA LENDER .SO IN AUG 23 OF 2019 WE FINLLY CLOSED ON THIS .CALL THEN ON THE 26 OF AUG TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY WERE GETTING THING GOING AND HAD A FEW QUESTIONS.WAS TOLD HE WOULD GET BACK TO ME .HE DID SO WE SHOW UP THERE ON THE 29TH OF AUG .TO MAKE SURE EVERTHING WE WONTED WAS IN ORDER BUT IT WASNT .FIX IT AND SENT A EMAIL A MOUTH LATER ... read more

I applied for an application for a mobile home with American Family home sales in January 2018. I was immediately Told within the first 2 weeks that I was approved. In June 2018, I closed on my home with American Family home sales. I was told that it would be set up on my property within 2 months. After the 2 months was up and nothing was done not even ground work I started calling them and I was told in September that one of their employees was fired and everything was mixed up in their office. We bought a modular home from this company replacing our current home. We were told that after it was manufactured and delivered to their location, that it would be delivered and set up 2 weeks after. Delay after delay caused us to not have the home set for many weeks. Contacting the company we received excuse after excuse. When the home was delivered it sat on our site for weeks until we finally contacted the manufacturer and they apparently lit a fire under this company to set the home. My husband and I bought a used 2004 mobile home from this company in July of 2018. We were told that we could expect delivery and move in by Mid August. So we packed up all of our belongings except enough to get us through the 6 weeks we were expected to be out of our home. My fiancé and I stopped in looking for modular homes and the salesman was very knowledgeable about these homes. They were able to tell me the difference between a mobile home and a modular home. They walked be through their lot displays, which are beautiful, and showed me a ton of options I can change and input into my future home. I was able to tell them different features I would like to have and they showed me some floorplans that would easily accommodate to my needs. I placed an order with this business for a modular home on July 7, 2017 and the home was delivered to their location on September 27, 2017. When I originally placed the order for this home I was given an estimated move in time frame of Mid-October. I have been contacting the business since my home arrived to try and get a delivery date and was finally given a date of November 6, 2017.
