My primary care physician was on vacation so I chose to go to AFC when herniated discs in my spine caused my leg to go completely numb. Dr. Payne was great and immediately scheduled an MRI. That was the end of our “good experience” with AFC. Trying to get the MRI results was ridiculous. We had to go back to the clinic, pay another copay, and wait for 2.5 hours to get the results. Never mind that I am in terrible pain. Doctor gave us the results and stated a few times to go directly to the emergency room if the numbness gets ... read more

Was there 3 weeks ago with a ear infection. The front staff were very rude!! Very Rude!! They said I did not have insurance & said they tried verifying 3 different ways. Of course I knew I had insurance so after my husband & I called the insurance & had proof faxed - I was finally able to wait for a room. I finally got into a room and waited for over a hour to see a doctor. The odd thing was that maybe one other person was in the wait room when I went back. They could not have been busy! Once the doctor finally came in - it ... read more

DR. Payne is great he has been there from the beginning of me getting sick with this disease that I have called neurosarcodosis. The nurses are great too. I have been going there for over a year and I have always had a good experience.

The male nurse was extremely friendly, and I wish I had gotten his name. The doctor was also friendly and I will visit anytime I am feeling under the weather. I never have to wait long to be seen.

Dr. Payne, as my primary care physician, is the reason I chose AFC. He is a wonderful person; caring, personable, and one of the best doctors out there. The AFC staff are generally friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that obtaining prescription refills is typically difficult, as each time the pharmacy contacts AFC about refilling my regular scripts, the pharmacy sends me an alert that I must call AFC myself as refills are always denied. When I call AFC, they then tell me to contact the pharmacy for m... read more

Professional on-site staff, but child's prescription was called in to a pharmacy that closed before we even left the office. I called back within 30 minutes but was refused help in transferring prescription to an open pharmacy by a very unprofessional after hours on-call. Now my child has to wait until tomorrow or I have to take her somewhere else.

I took my fiancé here yesterday for possible flu, strep and back pain and the care was terrible. The nurse came in and asked questions and left. The Dr then came in and decided to do flu and strep test which were done, but then the nurse came back in and handed us 2 papers and said you are good to go. We had to ask the results of the tests. Which were both negative but a prescription for flu medicine was given anyway. Nothing was ever said about her back which she is still having trouble with. So I called back today to ask a... read more
