Sham business. Owners Mark Davis and his nephew Michael Skoncey do not have regular employees. Instead, they subcontract the jobs out to whatever nonprofessionals they can find. The husband/wife team they sent to do painting for me was: a mechanic, and insurance worker. They did painting “on the side” to earn extra money, I found this out when they only showed up for brief periods of time — 5 hours the first day, then the husband came by himself the second day for 2 hours, and the third day for 2 1/2 hours. Worst contractor I've ever hired. Do not hire these guys. I hired them to paint my house, porch and to remodel my kitchen and bathroom. The work was terrible, the bathroom is falling apart. My floor is separating, towel bar has fallen off the wall from the double-sided team Chuck (head contractor) used to afix the the bar to the wall, mold is the shower improper water seal. In the kitchen, my dishwasher cannot be removed due to their mismeasurement and use of the cabinet filler; they didn't leave enough space when laying out... read more
I had Mark and American Eagle Painting at my house several times for several projects. Painting, flooring, concrete floor repair in my basement, as well as fence and railing repairs. Mark has always been up front and honest with me, and his crew was very professional and always have done really great work. I'll never go anywhere else
