I have going to american dental for 2 years they are fantastic they have been communicating with my dental insurance faithfully. Each time i have gone they have explained everything clearly a nd the dentists have completed procedures carfully with little pain. I highly recommend american dental for everyone. I am extremely impressed with the dentists at the Fullerton location. Once again choose american dental.
The receptionist are so incredibly incompetent it's not worth going into.
This location particularly has not been a great experience. The orthodontist on staff is hard to schedule with. Additionally , I had a normal scheduled appointment and was not seen for over an hour due to an internal mistake. Very frustrating!
Bait and switch pricing scheme, beware. As a Cook County employee, I have their dental HMO. There are set fees for all dental services, including wisdom tooth extractions. They will tell you your insurance requires "pre-authorizarion", but if you want you can pay the self-pay rate and be "reimbursed" once they receive payment. What they don't tell you is that you'll only be reimbursed what they get paid by your insurance, not the difference between the self-pay rate and your insurer's negotiated out of pocket expense. Dr. Aaron Cwik is incredible. He surgically removed my wisdom tooth that was severely impacted, he did an amazing job. His great personality distracted me from focusing on the pain, I’m on day 3 post surgery and the pain is mild. I definitely had a great experience.
