Dr. Citow walks on water. There is not a more competent neurosurgeon in the Midwest!

I am truly honored to be under the care of Dr. Alzate! I had a failed cervical fusion from a different surgeon that left me with multiple complications. Dr.Alzate found the problem immediately. He called me on a Saturday, with concern & sympathy in his voice. I knew then that I was in good hands. After surgery, all of his staff has been wonderful. When I call the office, I never feel like a “number” like I have at other physicians. My concerns and needs are promptly tended to. I am forever thankful to have been cared for by ... read more

They are absolutely amazing and understanding. Dr. Alzate is the best in the area and it shows.

Extremely disappointed in first visit. I was never told that a referral from insurance was necessary and to top it off our insurance doesn’t require a single referral for any appointment ever.

Bagan was the biggest waste of my month. Had to wait almost two weeks to see him for five minutes. He not only told me my radiology report was wrong in the severity but that I just need PT. When I brought up my pain and asked how long it would take to get in with PT he said, and I quote, “Next week? Maybe even this week. It’s only Tuesday” The first doctor he suggested won’t be free until late February to early March 2019 and the second until Summer 2019. It’s currently Dec 11, 2018 I’ve felt pretty dismissed before but cons... read more

They are worth the wait to get to see them. I injured most of my spine, but Dr. Citow was great. My back surgeon had retired 2 yrs ago & because I did not have a current DR. it took some waiting to see him. In the meantime he reviewed MRI's & called me on a Sunday AM to talk to me. He put me in touch with Dr Huhr in the Pain Management program at Condell and they are trying epidurals for me. 1st one tomorrow.

I can’t express how grateful I am to Dr. Citow for the wonderful care he gave. After a surgery (with another doctor) about a year ago, I couldn’t walk without excruciating pain. Dr. Citow was able to correct the problem. He’s staff is fantastic! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the whole experience.
