Stopped off for lunch, a couple Elvis Burgers and a Party Melt w/fries and we were stuffed with some excellent old fashion food. Got our son an American Burger cap and we were on our way.
They just keep getting better each every year! My old favorite was the Red White and Blue burger, now I'm into their BBQ Bacon burger. :P
Was told, “you have ten minutes to eat”, when we walked in the door at 7:50PM after a 12 hour drive to get to Monterey. Facebook says the restaurant is open until 9:30PM. Google says it is open until 9PM. We will not attempt to return while visiting Monterey...or ever. It’s a poor business model to turn away people who walk into your business with cash in hand.
Had the seasoned fries, then Elvis burger, and mocha milkshake!!! All good!
It was a lot of malt shop/classic rock swag and a play list anyone would enjoy. Fun friendly environment and delicious food. As we were leaving a live musician was coming in. I love a good burger and they have them and much more.
