John was a word of mouth referral a couple of years back and he's done a marvelous job of helping me keep my high mileage vehicles running well. Honest, reliable and doesn't pile on unnecessary work or recommendations.
This place is totally amazing. John the owner is the most honest mechanic I've ever come across. Compared to all other places I've gone to this place is cheap as heck too. Highly recommended!!!
I've used this place 4 times and I have to say you will not be disappointed at all... you can trust what they say about your vehicle and the price and work is the best.....
Very bad experience= I set an appointment with the owner, John, to bring in my car one morning for some repairs. I arrived at 11 am and was I told it was most likely too late for them to get to my car that day. Surprised, I indicated I was not aware there was a cutoff time, for he had not told me this when we set the appointment. Dittos on what everyone on here is saying. John was a word-of-mouth referral to me, and I've had at least 4 repairs performed by him now. I am still totally surprised as to how flexible John is with trying to keep the cost of the repair(s) down, to the point where he actually *encourages* you to go online to buy expensive parts,etc. to save $$$. Who ELSE that you've used before does that? My father-in-law owned a reputable shop and even HE never did that! Kudos to John and the crew at AAR!!! Keep up the great work!
I have never been to a repair shop that was more competitive than this one. I also appreciated the frequent updates on the progress of my car and the mechanic's commitment to sticking to his timetable and estimate. I would recommend this place to any and everyone. I now have my whole family taking their cars here.
