They quoted me a fair price for inspecting the portable A/C unit and efficiently identified a clogged filter as the issue, which they cleaned out within an hour. Having looked into it myself beforehand, I appreciated their thorough explanation of the problem and steps taken to fix it.
The problem was a misaligned vent that was causing moisture build-up, and after realigning the ductwork, they wrapped up in about an hour with a thorough inspection to ensure everything was secure. While previous experiences with other contractors left issues unresolved, this time it seems they've managed to fix it efficiently.
I wanted to leave a review because the technician conducted the A/C preventive maintenance thoroughly, checking and cleaning components, and took about an hour to ensure everything was in proper working order. In contrast to previous visits where they rushed through, this felt more comprehensive.
The issue turned out to be a faulty compressor, which the technician efficiently dismantled and assessed in about two hours. He explained each step as he went, and I appreciated his thorough approach compared to a previous repair visit from another company where things felt rushed.
Thermostat installed correctly, working fine.
