My mom passed away suddenly but the day before a hospice nurse was out there at my mom's nursing home and checked her vitals and gave me no warning that l need to be expecting it anytime now so needless to say I don't recommend them. I think they are not very well trained in end of life care. I even told one of the nurses that my mom was different but it didn't do any good. The facility is who recommended them so I can see why because both places did nothing for her.
My grandmother passed under their care on 4/3/26 and it's now 7/14/26. We have yet to receive a sympathy card or call from anyone on the team. The hospice nurse knew my grandmother was in her final hours and didn’t notify us that it was the end. She passed away in her room alone. Very disappointing experience when it could have been one filled with explanations of what to look for so we could be prepared.
