My mother was admitted to Amedisys' home care last month and I would not recommend them; they care more about dollars and cents then your loved ones well being. The admission representative and nurse, Vickie spent nearly 2 hours reading verbatim Amedisys' polices. Since I was my mother's power of attorney, she signed my name to the documents she was reading (she never asked for my permission and has not provided any physical copies of these documents to me).
