We tried everything for my dad. We went through home health, an inpatient stay and finally while sitting in the hospital asking to go home, we made the decision for hospice for my dad. I know hospice well, but when it’s your dad, it’s completely different. The care this team showed was amazing. They were on call for us 24/7. They paid for everything dad needed. Five years later and I still think this is the worst place in ala. Please find another hospice care. I left my review 5 years ago on the other page
Horrible experience! Minimum care nurses are very nice however, when you really really need them it took two hours and several phone calls for someone to show up and that was to pronounce him deceased. Very disappointed with the system. Yes, it is end of life care however I am not a nurse and they expect you to be the nurse and when you call them because you don’t know what to do and they take two hours to come only to pronounce him dead it’s unacceptable.
