I had a kidney transplant at MUSC and the home care that we pick was Amedsis and I am glad I did. The transplant nurse Kelly is excellent. She gave us so much information and help setting up all of my new meds. If you have a choice I definitely would use Amedsis
My husband just went through kidney & liver transplant surgeries. Upon discharge Kelly was our home health nurse at our hotel. She was a God Send. Very informative, professional, kind, caring, and she definitely has a great personality. So grateful for her care, and for being there daily to care and talk to us about the do’s and don'ts after transplants. I don’t know what we would have done without her. Thank you!!!
I am a first time patient of at-home healthcare, so this experience is all new to me. Initially the first nurse that was sent to me was just not a great fit and her actions were unacceptable, so we reached out to the clinical manager, Jeanine.
