My experience, if I was rating the 3 PT specialists assigned to provide home care would be 5/5, especially for Katie my main PT instructor, who was highly skilled, personable and professional. In less than 6 weeks, I could put away my walker and cane. I filed Formal Complaint Regarding Substandard Care and Lack of Support to MD Health Department for my 94 years old parent. Poor communication, slow response to urgent matters, poor medical judgement , declined to provide complex services for ill person, lack of professional, ethical and medical skills, integrity issues communicating and triaging at the charge nurse level, poor availability to accommodate patient schedule. terrible experience. I should've had Home PT when I came home from the hospital on Thursday, June 12. James from the Frederick office came on Saturday 6/14 to do an initial evaluation. He said someone would call me by Sunday to set up three PT appointments for the following week. No one Called Sunday or Monday. I called the Home Nurse line late Monday evening and was told they were scheduled to come Wednesday Thursday Friday. I worked with Ven as my PT. I will say that he is amazing. He really helped my mobility. We had to move to another state but I’m continuing with the company in Florida. I look forward continuing and recommend to anyone that needs good PT.
